Textinker provides browser-based tools for cleaning, formatting, redacting, previewing, and copying text.
The core functionality is designed to run locally in your browser. Textinker does not require account creation.
Local Processing
Text you paste into Textinker is processed locally in your browser.
Textinker does not intentionally transmit, store, or process the text you paste on its own servers.
However, technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request URLs, timestamps, and similar metadata may be processed by hosting providers, content delivery networks, analytics tools, or advertising partners.
Textinker uses analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand site usage, page performance, traffic patterns, and product improvement opportunities.
Text You Paste
You control what you paste into Textinker.
Pasted text may include personal, confidential, or sensitive information. Textinker does not guarantee anonymization, redaction, security, compliance, or removal of all sensitive data.
Always review output before sharing, publishing, or storing it.
Do not use Textinker with content you are not authorized to process.
Information We May Process
Depending on usage, Textinker may process or receive:
- Technical data (IP address, browser, device, timestamps, URLs)
- Usage and analytics data such as page views, session activity, traffic source information, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events if analytics tools are enabled
- Clipboard interaction events handled by your browser (Textinker does not store clipboard data)
- Error and security logs
- Consent preference choices stored locally in your browser so your advertising setting can be remembered on this device
- Data processed by third-party services used for hosting, infrastructure, content delivery, security, or advertising
- Advertising-related data (cookies, identifiers, IP, device info)
Analytics
Textinker uses analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to measure traffic, understand which pages and tools are used, evaluate product performance, detect broad usage trends, and improve the site.
These analytics tools may use cookies or similar technologies and may process technical and usage data such as IP-based approximate location, browser and device details, page visits, referral information, session activity, and interactions with site features.
Analytics data is intended for site measurement, troubleshooting, product decisions, and business reporting. It is not intended to change the local-text-processing promise described above.
Analytics providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Google may process data collected through Google Analytics according to Google Privacy & Terms.
Cookies and Advertising
Textinker may display advertising from third-party partners, including Google.
Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, limit ad frequency, and personalize advertising.
Textinker does not use pasted text for advertising targeting or personalization.
Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
You can manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.
Textinker includes an on-site advertising preference control intended to help decide whether advertising storage may be used on this device.
That site control is part of Textinker's ad-loading setup, but it does not by itself guarantee compliance with every regional advertising, privacy, or consent requirement.
Where required by law or by advertising platform rules, additional consent flows or certified consent-management tooling may also be used before advertising cookies are enabled.
Third-Party Services
Textinker may use third-party services such as:
- Content delivery networks
- Hosting providers
- Analytics providers, including Google Analytics if enabled

These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Children
Textinker is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Security
Textinker uses reasonable safeguards appropriate for a browser-based tool, including HTTPS encryption and avoidance of server-side storage of pasted text.
However, no system can guarantee complete security.
